Every year, Oxford St. in London attracts thousands of holiday shoppers. It also attracts thousands of onlookers, as the street is decorated with lights, and cool windows. I was in London this time last year to capture it.
The Tower of London surrounded by poppies. Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red will see 888,246 ceramic poppies planted in the Tower’s moat, each poppy representing a British military fatality during the war.
This memorial statue is a tribute to the men who kept watch round the clock during the Blitz of WWII and kept St. Paul’s Cathedral standing, as a beacon to the whole city.
